These terms cover our website at invisibleproductinc.com and our app at app.invisibleproductinc.com. They also cover a build you start in the app, and how it is paid for. Where we have also signed a written agreement with you, that agreement controls wherever the two differ.

who we are

This site is published by Invisible Product Inc. We design and build custom software for small teams, and we make a product called Bubbl.

what this site is

It describes what we do. Nothing on it is an offer, a quote, a price, or a commitment to build anything. Descriptions of what software can do are general, and what you would actually get is set by a build you start in our app or by an agreement we write with you.

using the site

You are welcome to read it, link to it, and quote it with attribution. Please do not try to break it, take it apart to rebuild it as your own, or use it to send anything automated at us. The text, layout, code and marks on the site belong to us unless we say otherwise.

the app and your account

Asking for a blueprint at app.invisibleproductinc.com opens an account with us, which happens by signing in with Google or Microsoft there. It is free, and it exists so the blueprint has somewhere to live and you can come back to it. Give us details that are yours and are accurate, and do not use someone else's email address or sign in with someone else's account. We may close an account that is being used to abuse the service, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time by writing to the address below. What we keep and for how long is in our privacy policy.

connecting your Google or Microsoft account

Signing in with Google or Microsoft is how a blueprint starts, and by doing it you are telling us we may read your mail and your calendar, both read only, to write your blueprint and, once you start a build, to run the parts of your system that read them. Only connect an account you are entitled to connect, and if it belongs to your employer, make sure you are allowed to. You can withdraw the permission at any time, from your Google or Microsoft account or by asking us. If you do not come back we forget our copy ourselves after thirty days, unless you have entered your card for a build, when we keep it until you delete your account.

We are registered with Google and with Microsoft as a single application together with Bubbl, our own product, so their screens will carry Bubbl's name. It is the same company. Withdrawing the permission from your Google or Microsoft account therefore ends any Bubbl access you have granted as well. Our use of what Google or Microsoft gives us is covered by our privacy policy, which follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

what a blueprint is

A blueprint is our reading of what we could build for you, written from your public website and what we can find about your company. It is not a timeline or a commitment to build anything, and it may be wrong. A build starts when you press Get started on your blueprint or Start building on your score, and shows you a monthly price once we have learned your business. Nothing in the blueprint binds either of us until you enter your card for that build.

work we do for you

A build you start in the app is charged at the monthly price it showed you before you entered your card, on the terms below, and what it builds is settled with you in its plan. Any other work starts with a written agreement covering scope, price, ownership, confidentiality and support, and until you have entered your card for a build or that agreement is signed by both of us, nothing is promised. Conversations, proposals and estimates are not binding on either of us.

paying for a build

Once we have learned your business, your build shows you its monthly price, and before we build your solutions you enter your card on Stripe's own page. Stripe, which processes our payments, saves it. Apart from any deposit you were shown with the price, which is charged when you enter your card, nothing is charged until what we build is live: the day your build screen first shows Live. It shows Live only once every new part has passed our team's check. That day Stripe charges the first month, at the monthly price you were shown before you entered your card, and the same each month after, until you cancel. You pay for at least six months, counted from that day. If you cancel before what we build is live, by writing to [email protected], it costs you nothing beyond that deposit.

the product is separate

Bubbl is our own product and it has its own terms and its own account. An account here is not a Bubbl account and never becomes one, and these terms do not govern your use of Bubbl. Signing in here does not create a Bubbl account or give Bubbl anything, whatever name is on the sign-in screen.

links we do not control

We link to other places, including our own accounts on social platforms and our product. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for them.

no warranty

The site and the app are provided as they are. We do not promise either will always be available, or that everything on them is current or correct. We keep them accurate as best we can, and we change them without notice.

liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or the app, including lost profits or lost data, and including anything you do on the strength of a blueprint. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

changes

We update these terms from time to time. The date at the top is the version you are reading. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
